I am a Dunedin artist who has drawn and painted all my life.

I studied at Middlesex University in London, graduating in 1994 with a BA( Hons) Fine Art.

I have had several solo shows, and regularly exhibit at the Otago Art Society, of which I have been a member for 14 years and where I have won a number of awards. I also participated in a demonstration weekend organised by Otago Art Society.

I use oils, watercolour and gouaches to respond to my subject. I enjoy the immediacy of painting ' en plein air', but also like to pursue ideas in the studio, using observational sketches as a starting point.

Lately I have been exploring impasto technique, using palette knives for landscape and portraiture.
